Who we are
Don Bates has formed Ski Pros St Gervais to bring together like minded ski instructors to provide the best
ski school service in the St Gervais / Megeve ski area.
Don has worked as an independent ski coach for many years and has a friendly, flexible and thoroughly scientific
teaching approach. His native language is English but also speaks fluent French and Spanish. He holds full
British Association of Ski Instructor qualifications (ISTD) he is also fully qualified in the USA (PSIA) and in
France (BEES).
Ski Pros has been created to give more choice, flexibility and a personal service instead of a rigid "ski school"
approach; this means you can take control of your learning and make the breakthrough you deserve.
What we offer
We offer top class lessons and coaching based on the needs of the individuals in front of us, from beginners right through
to off piste awareness courses.
We speak your language; we understand the fundamentals of skiing so you will learn accurate easy movements that
you won't have to unlearn at a later date.
All of this is delivered with a sense of humour and a smile so that everyone can have fun!
Our pricing structure means that after four people the rest are free so if you are a family or a group the best
instruction is still easily affordable.
The intermediate rut
This is one of the biggest areas of concern for many skiers. Here at Ski Pros we have developed a programme to
help just about everyone acheive the breakthrough to ski the whole mountain not just a green or flat blue run.

Where to meet us
Within reason we can meet you wherever you wish in the St Gervais / Megeve ski area or in any ski area nearby.
When you book we will confirm your reservation straight away and give you accurate
directions to an easy meeting point.
Where we ski
We cover the whole of the Evasion Mt Blanc ski area, it is a huge area that stretches from Megeve to Les Contamines on the
other side of St Gervais, the two main linked areas are St Gervais - St Nicholas and Megeve; then Combloux,
Le Jaillet (Megeve) and La Giettaz. All of these areas are covered on the same Espace Mt Blanc lift pass.
In addition we can offer day trips to Chamonix, to Courmayeur in Italy or to the fantastic Portes du Soleil ski
area in Lets Gets and Morzine.
